* Across the board increase for MAPE effective 9/14/94.
** Managers may receive up to an average of a 4% performance-based increase in the second year. Managers are not eligible for step increases.
*** Commissioner's Plan employees receive a 3.25% across-the-board increase, and are eligible for up to a 3% performance increase in the second year. They do not receive step increases.
**** HECB employees may receive up to an average 4% performance-based increase in the second year. They are not eligible to receive step increases.
***** SUS faculty with salaries under $35,857 receive a 1.59% increase in FY 94. In FY 95, faculty under $35,857 receive a 3.37% increase. All others receive a 5.01% increase.
****** MSUAASF employees receive no increase in FY 94. In FY 95 all receive a variable across-the-board increase and step adjustment equal to 5.46%.

+ SUS Comp Plan employees may receive up to an average 5.25% performance-based increase in FY 95.
++ Tech College Plan employees may receive up to an average 4% performance-based increase in FY 95.
+++ Com College Plan employees may receive up to an average 5.25% performance-based increase in FY 95.
++++ The one HEB employee is eligible for a merit increase up to 5.25%.

(1) Includes all funds, including higher education agencies. Includes salaries, steps, FICA, insurance & pension.
(2) Percent of new money needed over base.
(3) Employees in this plan receive increases based on performance only.
(4) These percentages are averages. Groups within plan follow lead of other units.
(5) This percentage reflects the annualized cost of the increases granted during the biennium. This figure depicts all of the costs of the contract, including "tails."
